A Magical 10-Year Vow Renewal in Aruba: Our Journey of Love

Twelve years ago, when I first saw my husband at a BBQ party, my world changed forever. He walked into my life with a ‘rico suave’ vibe, tall, muscular, and handsome, and from that moment, I was hooked. Little did I know then that he would become my rock, my partner, and the love of my life.

Fast forward to our 10-year wedding anniversary, and we found ourselves in beautiful Aruba, renewing our vows on a beautiful beach that symbolized the strength and serenity of our relationship. Surrounded by the soft whisper of ocean waves and with our closest family by our side, it was a day that meant the world to us.

The ceremony was simple, yet full of emotion, as we reflected on the incredible journey we’ve had together. From blending our families and traveling the world to laughing and dancing through life’s highs and lows, it has been nothing short of amazing. One of the moments that has filled my heart the most is watching him coach our Stevie through his sports, always putting our family first.

Like any marriage, ours has faced its share of challenges. Life has tested our bond in ways we never imagined, and there were times when the road felt long and difficult. But through it all, we leaned on each other and on our faith, finding the strength to overcome obstacles and grow stronger together. After the ceremony, we celebrated at our rental house with a reception that was intimate and perfect. A private chef prepared an incredible surf-and-turf meal that we shared with our family, toasting to many more decades of love and togetherness.

I am so grateful for the man I married and the life we have built together. Here’s to many more years of laughter, love, and endless adventures.
